Will Northern Britain get colder from Global Warming?
British people should know that London, England, which is located 52 Degrees North of the Equator, is on the same line of latitude as the Canadian city of Dauphin, Manitoba.
Dauphin, Canada in winter reaches temperatures of -45 Degrees celsius. Goose Bay, off the Canadian Maritime coast of Newfoundland, SOUTH of Britain, sees -25 degrees in winter very often.
In North Scotland, you can grow cabbage all year. Why? The Warm North Atlantic Current known as the Gulf Stream!
This is why Europe’s climate is so ideal for agriculture.
BUT……with global Warming…….the gulf Stream current will be disrupted and London will see the -30 Degree Celsius temperatures and 10 Meters of snowfall.
Do British people worry this may be coming to them?
I know Britain is not just London! I used London as an example of one point inside Britain to compare with one point inside a Canadian point of origin.
