Business Agriculture Degree
I will be completing a Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Business in 2010…?
What would you say the likelihood of me getting a job straight out of college, paying roughly $40k/year+benefits and not working in sales, in any field, not just something agriculturally related?
Do you think the ‘Agriculture’ part of my degree will help or hurt me in finding a job outside of the agricultural spectra?
Any insight would be fabulous!
Let me mention that I have no interest in farming.
THat’ll be hard because so much of agriculture is SELLING SELLING SELLING. Think about it, farmers grow their produc and then want to sell it. I think you could find a job in he business world in spite of the agriculture on your degree, but it may be hard to get a 40K job.
